As a principal in London’s West End, Michael has performed leading roles in numerous musicals including Martin Guerre, Les Miserables, Starlight Express, King, Joseph (London Palladium) and Candide (Menier Chocolate Factory).

Michael has recorded many times for BBC Radio 2. He has played principle roles in 13 staged concert musicals with the BBC concert orchestra including: Young Buddy in Follies at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Henrik in A Little Night Music, Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls, Heavenly Friend in Carousel. Tranish in Bitter Sweet and Action in West Side Story at The Barbican Hall. Michael can be heard in Omega for the Wireless Theatre Company.
